• The Trotting Horse

Welcome to the Trotting Horse!

Richard & Jenny Nickolls would like to extend a very warm welcome to you at the Trotting Horse.

A traditional, rural pub, we strive to provide local real ales, decent home cooked food, and a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy.  Located in the tiny village of Bushton, the pub dates back to the 19th Century.  We are set in beautiful Wiltshire countryside surrounded by good footpaths and just off a national cycle route.

A warm, relaxing atmosphere

We have two bar areas, with an open double sided fire during winter months, as well as a dining room that will seat up to 34 people.  The bar features Bar Billiards and Darts, and for the summer, we have a large beer garden, complete with a fenced off children’s play area.

Our Function Room is available to hire for parties, skittles, meetings and other events.  FREE Hi Speed Wi-Fi Access is available to all our customers.

Decent, home cooked food

All our meals are home-cooked from quality ingredients.  We don’t do fancy; we do decent, home-cooked food with good portion sizes.  Food that tastes good after a hard day’s work or a long hike in the countryside!  Click here to see more details and for our menu.
